PAR Procedure provides functionality tailored to meet the needs of procedure based departments such as Cath Labs and Operating Rooms.

A PC is located in the using department. The department has access to all functionality required to manage all data collection activities and supply chain activities including:

• Item database management
• Critical alert notification
• Product utilization analysis
• Cost accounting information by doctor, patient, procedure, DRG, etc.
• Access to scores of reports that keep you informed of what is happening in your department

A Touch Probe or wireless barcode scanner is used to record each item dispensed or credited to a patient. Events, procedures, doctors, lot number and/or serial number may be recorded. Patient identification occurs by making a simple selection on the PC screen from a database of patients. The patient database was gathered via an ADT interface. The caregiver is immediately able to observe or print the time-stamped data that has been collected.

The system can also be interfaced to your Materials Management, Patient Billing and Cost Accounting Systems. PAR Excellence also offers an optional client license - PAR Procedure Client that allows any existing workstations to serve as a remote downloading station so you never have to stray too far from the action.
