PAR Secure

Although PAR Excellence does not promote restricting access to all supplies throughout the hospital, certain environments or certain supplies may benefit from restricted access. PAR Secure provides an economical solution for those situations.

PAR Secure was designed for:

  • Certain supplies within a PAR Location that require restricted access.

  • All supplies within a specific PAR Location that require enhanced security.

PAR Secure can be used in conjunction with any of the following products to identify the patient or department to which the supplies are being dispensed:

  • PAR Display
  • PAR Select
  • PAR Record
  • PAR Replenish

To gain access to secured supplies, the caregiver simply enters an access code. Upon opening the door, the user indicates supplies dispensed by touching the iTag associated with the item.

The cabinet features an optional automatic closing mechanism. Once closed, the cabinet locks itself after a user defined time period. A single keypad can control from one to four cabinets. The back panel of the PAR Secure cabinet will accommodate hanging bins or shelves.

Watch a brief Slide Show on using the PAR Secure.
